Synopsis

Life for 15-year-old Loïc and Theo, his little brother, is not funny
in the former working-class district of Lens. For their mum too,
more used to day-to-day difficulties than to daily happiness. Loïc escapes somehow when he climbs on the slagheap: “When I
climb, I don’t think. All the weight I have on the heart, it’s as
if it was going in the wind, with the view.” School drop-out,
harassment endured, his life is a succession of moments of
suffering that are relieved a little with the presence of Theo.
