Synopsis
Opio sings and laughs to calm his fear as he goes down into the depths of the Perkoa gold mine in his homeland of Burkina Faso for the very first time. Patiently and diligently, the strong-willed youth tries to extract gold from a sack full of stone in order to realise his dream: Opio wants to go to high school.
