Synopsis

In northern France, Gabin, the youngest child of the Jourdel family, is set to take over his father’s butcher’s shop. Torn between family loyalty and a desire to break free, he has other dreams: to train a show cow, to become a dog breeder, and to save his mother’s farm from bankruptcy. GABIN immerses us in the life of this young boy, from the age of 8 to 18.
