Synopsis
Around 1800, a little boy named Georg fled across the Alps with his brother, heading for Italy. However, he fell seriously ill and was unable to complete the journey. Taken in at the Saint Bernard hospice to receive treatment, he befriends Resi, the dog trainer’s daughter. The two children learn that one of the puppies will not survive, and Georg decides to save it. This little dog is the one who would go on to become the famous Barry.
