Synopsis
In the Lithuanian countryside, ten children are placed in a foster family with Ona. This goodhearted woman spends her days and nights ensuring the fledglings abandoned in her nest are safe under her protective wing. Fully aware that a child without roots is like a bird without wings, Ona takes three of them to meet their birth mothers. But will the cuckoos recognise their offspring?
