Camille Ponsin began his career as a director of photography. Since 2003, he has directed a dozen documentaries, the most notable of which – and those most acclaimed by the press – are *Les Demoiselles de Nankin*, *Bollywood Boulevard* and *Le Dernier Visiteur*. His first feature film, *La Combattante*, won the Grand Prix at Fipadoc 2022. His latest film and first feature-length fiction film, *Sauvage*, starring Céline Sallette, Lou Lampros and Bertrand Belin, was released on 8 April 2026.
