Festival Director BUFF Malmö Film Festival, Sweden, Julia Granath graduated from the University of Malmö with a Bachelor of Science in Media and Communication. She has worked at BUFF in Malmö since 2007 and has been its festival director since December 2012. Previously, she was Head of Education at the regional film fund Film i Skåne and project manager at the regional fund Film Stockholm. She believes that film experiences can help young people to better understand life and expand their world.
