Nathalie Bondoa
Nathalie Bondoa joined the Judicial Youth Protection Service (PJJ) in 2006, after 10 years with the French Ministry of Education as a supply teacher (French, Latin, history and geography) and a day-school supervisor.
In all the roles she has held within the PJJ – as an educator, unit manager and, now, a trainer – she has always been driven by her commitment to supporting vulnerable young people. Helping young people to understand their difficulties and make sense of the world around them, so that they can find their place in it, is an ambitious yet essential mission. In the relationships Nathalie has forged with the young people she has met, cinema in all its forms has always held a special place. It serves as a catalyst for dialogue, an opportunity to develop and celebrate a personal perspective. Cinema offers a multitude of ways of interpreting the world and is an inexhaustible source of emotion and enjoyment. The École Nationale de la PJJ (ENPJJ) has been participating in the International Educational Film Festival (FIFE) for over 20 years, ensuring that this event contributes to the training of the institution’s educators. FIFE is dedicated to young people and cinema. So here’s to many more years for FIFE!
