Synopsis
In the middle of the Siberian taiga, far away from everything, two families live self-sufficiently following their own rules and
principles. In this beautiful but hostile nature, rather than trying to form community they refuse to speak to each other. Even the children who occasionally find themselves together on an island in the middle of the river stare at each other in silence.
