Synopsis
Eliécer, a mature, robust and solitary
man, lives modestly in Rincón del Mar,
in the Colombian Caribbean. He learns
of the death of his father, disappeared
while he was still a child, at the same
time that he is entrusted with Esperanza,
his half-sister become orphan. Not
being willing to take her in charge, Eliécer
resolves to take her to Bogotá with
the mother who abandoned her baby.
Toño, a young man who dreams of learning
to box in the capital, joins them. For
these three destitute beings, the journey
will prove long and difficult. The different
encounters are as many threats as
beautiful human experiences. At the end
of the road, Eliécer faces the decision to
find the home and family he and Esperanza
lost.
