The pleasure offered by the cinema will always be more contagious than any virus!
The International Education Film Festival supports the reopening of movie theatres with a special "end of lockdown" edition from June, Tuesday 22nd to Friday 25th, 2021 in Evreux!
We had set a date... at the end of lockdown and therefore at the reopening of movie theatres... We thought it could happen in Spring... It will in fact take place in Summer! The International Education Film Festival wishes to be there to accompagny the people back to the movie theatres! We are therefore organising between Tuesday 22nd and Friday 25th, 15 screenings at the Cinéma Pathé in Evreux. More than 30 films will be screened during these 4 days, all chosen from the Festival's 16th edition that took place online for 3 weeks between the end of November and the beginning of December 2020. We will screen the entire "young audience" program (around 30 films), for children attending leisure centres (younger and older children), primary school pupils, middle-school pupils, as well as a special "family" screening on Wedsnesday afternoon with the presentation of the feature film The Extraordinary Journey of Marona. 4 important dates for every spectator in town, in the departement and beyond, have also been booked, 2 feature films shown in preview: Kuessipan and Once you know, which were both awarded respectively Best Fiction and Best Documentary during the 16th edition, as well as 2 films shown for the first time in Evreux: Rosa's wedding and #So Vaï (16th edition's special mention given by the Young and Students' Jury). A beautiful program to celebrate this return to movie theatres! We hope to see you there... The year 2021 will allow us to meet twice: you can already set the date for the 17th edition which the whole team is currently organising, and which will take place between November 30th and December 4th!
