Synopsis

The daughter of a a secular progressive father and a traditional Muslim mother illustrates the abyss that still exists in their marriage. Through photos and fictional conversations, we discover the family’s change during the years of revolution in Iran. Using her own childhood as focus of the narrative, the family history reflects the political events and becomes a central metaphor, depicting the intriguing puzzle that constitutes modern Iranian identity.
