Synopsis
Saishi is a farmer who has taken over the family farm according to tradition. Following the Fukushima disaster, he is forced to leave his farm and be relocated until the state decontaminates his land and allows him to return. Saishi also has to deal with other issues, including his responsibilities to his aging parents. Son of Fukushima takes place over a period of 5 years with touches of animated sequences in the back and forth to the past of this family.
